Spatial Point Process Models with INLA

Workshop on Spatial Point Process Models for Ecological Survey Data with INLA,

CREEM, St Andrews, 20-23 March 2017

The Centre for Research into Ecological and Environmental Modelling at the University of St Andrews, in collaboration with the University of Edinburgh, will be holding a 4-day workshop on fitting spatial point processes to data from ecological surveys. The workshop will be held at the custom workshop facility at the Centre for Research into Ecological and Environmental Modelling in St Andrews, Scotland.

It will cover methods for fitting spatial point process models to data obtained from (1) surveys in which the locations of all population members in an area of interest are observed, (2) surveys in which the locations of population members are observed only within in a spatial sub-sample in an area of interest (as might be the case on plot sampling surveys), and (3) surveys in which individuals are missed with some unknown probability (including distance sampling surveys).
